Acko

Acko was founded by Varun Dua, who earlier co-founded insurance portal Coverfox. Acko General Insurance provides insurance products, catering to the needs of the digitally-savvy consumer. The company uses a direct-to-consumer approach for distributing motor insurance, allowing for favourable risk selection and superior underwriting. Acko also offers innovative and bite-sized insurance products such as rider insurance, mobile and appliance protection, ticket cancellation and also group health insurance. We invested in Acko, leading their seed round when they were still pre-launch.
