Utkarsh Bajpai

Utkarsh focuses on early stage investments in Fintech, Blockchain, Industrial IoT and Local services companies at Elevation. Prior to Elevation, Utkarsh worked as a Product Manager at Urban Company where he started on the supply side by leading partner quality and support initiatives and then moved on to user acquisition, repeat and engagement initiatives on the demand side. His career also includes a brief stint in public health consulting at the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI). He holds a Bachelor’s in Technology from IIT Roorkee. 

Every interaction for me is a chance to listen and learn, and I consider myself fortunate to have the opportunity to interact with driven founders who are obsessed about their customers and learn more from their world view.

Great products are built on supporting and amplifying their user’s fundamental aspirations and dreams. Uncovering these aspirations requires one to have the ability to zoom in on to the fundamental drivers of human behaviour while being able to zoom out and form a cohesive world view. Having seen this amplification play out first hand at my stint at Urban Company, I feel energized from meeting founders that are going all out on finding these unmet goals and working to support their fulfillment in creative ways.
